Wyndham Arms, Salisbury

A pleasant roadside pub with a good village feel, built in the 1930s. The large enclosed pub garden is behind the building, and there is a terrace at the front with new wooden furniture. There is also a limited amount of parking. Inside is a single long bar with a pool table and dart board at one end. There is a 1960s brick fireplace, carpeted floors and a large TV screen which was off when we visited. There is a good range of megakeg lagers plus four ales on draft – Doombar, Cotleigh Harrier, Pitchfork Bullion Bronze and Wyndham Arms Mary’s Muddler (whatever that was)and ciders. The beer was in excellent condition. It’s a really friendly local and I’d be very happy to come back again when passing.
