Surrey Arms, Glossop

Just moved into the area had bad tales about this place about the clientele but seemed ok when we called in ok one or two young ones in they were ok one said sorry for swearing in front of my wife. At the end of the day all young ones are not bad. Will call back but like the crown its up a steep hill

The Surrey Arms is a small stone built pub that is on the end of a row of terrace houses. This pub is quite close to the Crown. Once inside there were a couple of rooms and i had a drink in the bar which was a decent room,the pub had Boddingtons signs outside and there were no real ales on the bar the only bitter was the rubbish Boddingtons Cream so i had a drink of Guinness which was a decent drink. This was a decent enough pub but it was let down by having no decent beer on the bar. Pub visited 30/3/2002
