The Parity, Grimsby

The Parity is a large open plan pub with bar along the rear wall and seating along the large front windows. To the left of the bar is a dartboard and to the right is a pool table. Televisions are found throughout for airing live sports. These were muted in favour of some loud background music. I counted four hand pumps, one of which was unused leaving Sharps Doom Bar (x2) and Mitchel and Butlers Brew XI as the cask ale options. A standard keg range is also available. Pub co food is available, the cheeseburger is priced at £7. I will swerve this place if I am unfortunate enough to find myself in Grimsby town center again.

Large, unbranded town-centre pub with anonymous semi-modern furniture and decor in several seating areas. Pool table and a number of sports TVs showing football (loudly). Two of four handpumps in operation, offering Doom Bar and John Smith's Cask (at a remarkable £1.89).
