The White Hart, Bedminster, Bristol

A basic, no frills boozer located just opposite Asda. Presumably the landlord is a bit of an Elvis fan, as there is what's described as an “Elvis Corner” at the front of the pub, although in reality this seems to have taken over half the establishment. The walls and even the ceiling are plastered with pictures of the king. There's a decent looking bar snack menu chalked up on the board consisting of wraps, baguettes and the like and they also do a roast on Sunday's. There were a few flyers advertising upcoming bands and even an Ann Summer's party. There were several Hell's Angels types at one table, but they were perfectly well behaved. Beers on this occasion were Courage Best and Doom Bar. Ciders were Blackthorn and a rather warm Thatcher's Gold.
