Walters, Grimsby

New owners, refurbished and nothing like the previous description. Serves an assortment of cask ales; has a spacious lounge area downstairs with another floor dedicated to busier nights and to act as a function room which regularly plays host to live music and entertainment. Disabled access on the ground floor and a friendly atmosphere that welcomes all.

The Pestle and Mortar is in the middle of Grimsby and it has a mock tudor frontage. Once inside this pub i could only see the one room,the pub was quite busy and had a bit of a rough edge to it. There were no real ales on the bar with the only bitter being John Smiths smooth so i had a Guinness.
