Oceans Bar, Llandudno

We had an impromptu stop for a swift half on a sunny Bank Holiday Monday in Llandudno. Located at the end of the pier, it is housed in a small hut-like structure with stained glass window panes. There are a few tables inside, but far more outside. In fact, with all tables occupied outside, bar staff started moving any unoccupied tables outdoors to encourage more trade. It left us feeling a bit isolated inside. With plenty of bar staff, service was swift. The choice is keg only, with Shipyard American Pale, San Miguel, Wild Horse Nokota, Guinness, Carlsberg, Somersby Apple & Somersby Blackberry Ciders & Marston's Llandudno Pier Ale all available. Serves a purpose, if you get thirsty at the end of the pier. My Nokota was a decent drop.

A basic bar at the end of the pier owned by the people who have the cafe opposite. Loads of tables shared between the two establishments. A pint of Stella was £5, but it was worth it to sit outside with a decent view in the sunshine for half an hour. We wouldn't have walked up here in the wind and rain like Clive did though.

A hexagonal hut at the very end of the very long Llandudno pier. There are a few tables inside and many more outside which must be nice on a sunny day, unfortunately it was lashing down with rain on my visit but at least they were open and provided some refuge from the wind and rain. A TV was on and there were a number of nautical prints dotted around. Keg only which is probably not surprising, a few bottles available including Newcy Brown at £3.20 a bottle.
