The Brunswick Inn is located end of row and has a narrow rounded end that houses some seating. A flagstone corridor runs the length of the pub passing the bar counter and some seating on the right and two or three seating areas on the left before reaching a brewing area at the rear, that looked unused to my untrained eye. This is a train themed pub so there is memorabilia on the walls, but it is understated when compared to the Alexandra up the road. I counted 16 hand pumps on the aforementioned L-shaped bar counter that is located mid-way along the pub. The regulars are Brunswick’s own Black Sabbath, Rocket, Railway Porter, The Usual, Triple Hop and White Feather alongside TT Landlord and Everard’s Tiger and Sunchaser. The guests were Brass Castle’s Gods of the Underworld alongside Woodforde’s Wherry and Reed Lighter. I enjoyed a pint of Triple Hop that was served by a polite barmaid. For those that like fizz there’s a limited craft keg range. There was a good atmosphere generated by a decent sized crowd, especially for early on a Tuesday evening. My only grumble would be that maybe one of the windows could have been opened to clear the air a little.
