After a 5 month delay the Potting Shed has finally opened last week and is certainly a large place that towers over the Wetherspoons next door. On the ground floor is the large bar plus a miscellany of gardening utensils in true Botanist and Potting Shed style,and on the upper floor is a bar with a rooftop garden. Downstairs in the basement is The Firepit which is a smokehouse and Sports bar type of place. Called in around 2 30pm om a Wednesday and was quite impressed with the conversion although i did not go in the Firepit or the upper floor. There was 3 isolated cask beer pumps all about 6 ft apart and i think only 2 of these were in operation.
