The Shoulder At Hardstoft, Chesterfield

Called in here for a drink for the first time. Cold and wet night but we were met by a roaring fire and fabulous sofas and armchairs. Enjoyed it so much we went back 4 days later for the Sunday Carvery. Food was very good, and we couldn't fault the service. The log fire was burning so after our meal we were able to relax with our coffee. We will be visiting again and taking friends with us. We know that the owners have not had this place for very long and changes may be made but as long as the fire stays in the winter we will look forward to returning. Many thanks Marion & Alan, Alfreton
