The Tupton Tap, Chesterfield

After an extensive refurb, the Royal Oak has reopened as the Tupton Tap.

The Royal Oak is a stand alone pub that is situated next to a busy traffic island. Once inside there was an L shaped room to the front with an island bar,this room was carpeted and had comfy bench seating and chairs,there was a TV to the right showing music videos,there was a games room to the rear which had a pool table in it. There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of John Smiths cask which was a decent drink but slightly too warm,the other beer was Bombardier. The pub was empty on my Saturday afternoon vist but there were a few people in the beer Garden. Pub visited 13/7/2013
