Smuggler's Cove, Ruislip

This is a long shop conversion pub that has a couple of plasma screens for showing Sky Sports and I spotted a rolled up plasma screen at the rear of the pub. My visit was late on Saturday evening and there was a band setting up at the back of the pub, which was good as the random love songs playing were starting to wear me down. The décor is pretty basic and there is a fruit and quiz machine at the end of the bar which is stocked with standard draught products. I imagine this place being fairly quiet during the week and busier at the weekend when the live music is playing. To be honest it was just nice to find a small bar in the area that didn’t have a MEMBERS ONLY sign in the window. This is not a place to go out of the way to visit, but it is always handy to know a local late night bar.
