Saracens Head, Caernarfon

This is one of three Robinson's pubs in the centre of Beddgelert all within a short distance of each other. On the face of it this is the least pub like of the three that seems to be just a hotel bar and restaurant. However, on my arrival at around midday there was what looked like a local with a pint in the front garden and a man with a guide dog inside enjoying a beer. They also registered no objections when I said I had just come for a beer. The interior remains much as described below with lots of wood and low furniture set out for dining. The bar has four hand pumps which had four Robinson's beers, a house Faithful Gelert, Dizzy Blonde, Blonde James Blonde and Wizard. I went for the Dizzy Blonde which was in good nick but at £3.95 ridiculously overpriced for the area. Because of the high price I wouldn't return.
