Old Fighting Cocks, Telford

Pub is well described in previous reviews , it is a very friendly pub owned by the Wrekin Brewery(previously Ironbridge) with help from Everards . No food is available but you can order from the local takeaways who will deliver to the pub ,where , plates and cutlery are supplied . The pub will also allow you to take your pint to the un-licensed Indian resturant across the road . There are 10 handpulls , 9 serving real ale and 1 with Scrambler cider , the beer range varies with a couple from Wrekin and Everards Tiger plus guests from far and wide , the Wrekin ales are good value at around £2.40 a pint the guest are around £3 . A large selection of bottled craft beers are also available . Only problem is the beer quality has suffered recently due to high turnover of managers , four in the last 12 months i reckon . This should be a great pub it just needs someone who knows how to cellar properly.
