The Britannia, Chesterfield

A smartly decorated pub but with that unfortunate air of corporateness, rather than individuality. In theory it ticks all the boxes but somehow doesn't quite make it. Some fair cask ales though: Abbeydale Moonshine, TT Landlord, Stones and Bradfield Farmers Blonde.

The main bar is on the right of entrance and had a good atmosphere from the locals after work. There were 5 pumps with 4 on serving Bradfield Farmers Blonde, TT Landlord, Stones and Lilleys Mango Cider. There was a small lounge on the left of the bar area and a large room down the back with TVs screens. Everywhere was painted in grey, so I thought the interior was quite drab.
