Sun Inn, Craven Arms

A very basic two-roomed pub, with traditional furnishings and its unspoilt interior marked by Camra as "one of the last real parlour pubs". There is in fact a bar counter which is in a modern extension at the rear, but the two front rooms are unchanged. On the right is a room with quarry tiled floor and kitchen tables with chairs and benches. On the left is a slightly faded smart parlour with arm chairs and a cabinet displaying "special" bottled beers including two jubilee ales from 1977. There's a choice of a cider and four beers from local breweries. My halves of Ludlow Stairway and Hobsons Champion Mild were both really good (NBSS 4.5 and 4 respectively).
