Crown Inn, Godalming

This is a delightful looking old pub right opposite the village green. There's a good lounge area where you can eat a bar snack or drink, with a real log fire which was kept well stoked. Plus a nice looking panelled restaurant and a proper pub bar area with a couple of screens showing sport and a darts board. Pretty much something for everyone, plus the staff were very friendly, it's a great 600 year old pub with bags of character and the food was very nice too.
