Bar for the Cromwell House Hotel, part of Greene King's Old English Inns chain. Not as traditional inside as it looks from the street, with a semi-modern refurbishment in the various seating / dining areas. Unchallenging background music. Two handpumps on the counter, but unfortunately the Titanic Stout guest beer went part-way through the pour so had to resort to the IPA (£3.15).

Stayed here for 4 night it was one of those deals in the paper Old English Inns there worth taking advantage of less than £40 a night for 2 with breakfast. The bar was open to non residents and always had a good few in there was 3 hand pulls on but it was very hot so stuck to lager. The food looked good and at a good price nice beer garden at the back of the pub, Would go back and stay
