Bar 85, Hitchin

Bar 85 is a short walk from The Victoria. This pub looked more like a club from the outside,but it is a proper pub. Once inside the bar faces in a single L shaped room,there are tall tables and chairs near the bar and bench seating and chairs to the front left,there is a darts board and pool table to the rear left. There was one real ale on the bar which was Thwaites Lancaster Bomber,this was a decent enough drink. The pub was fairly busy on my late Saturday afternoon visit. Probably not a pub most would do,but i was happy enough having a drink here. Pub visited 17/6/2017
