Old Hall Farm, Ellesmere Port

I remember liking this much more than the other 'pubs' in the vicinity so made it my first stop this afternoon. Unfortunately the slight cosy charm I vaguely recall has vanished in a recent modernisation. it also now has had an unsympathetic glass fronted extension tacked on. so a standard crap Marstons eatery but it had three real ales on - Pedigree, Saddle Tank and Wainwrights. do bear in mind if you're walking from the shops to here or the two nearby pubs you'll have to risk your life crossing the main road. I'm not sure any of them are worth dying for.

Very nice pub by the entrance to Cheshire Oaks shopping outlet. A wonderful place to contemplate the world as your teenage kids send you rocketing to the poor house as they go mad at the shops.
