No 44, Belper

When i first visited this pub with my wife it was Called The Imperial Vaults,a Bass tied house with no real ales on the bar. No 44 is a smallish single roomed pub with a small serving bar to the front right which had a pump on it with clip turned round,a few keg fonts and cakes. The seating is normal tables and chairs,the rear area is up one step,the room bare boarded. I had a drink of Bierra Morrietti which was cold,the other keg lager was San Miguel,they do bottled bitters which were in the fridge. Queet background music was playing,the pub or bar was also very busy,there is a garden to the rear,but i did'nt look at this,food was being served. This place seemed quite friendly and there was no problem in just having a drink. Pub first visited as Imperial Vaults 5/4/1988 Recent visit 11/7/2015
