The Morgan, Malvern

Wye Valley local, a few minutes away from town in the upmarket suburbia by the station. It's a nice place, maybe a little on the modern side (light colours and a bit plain, needs more tat) but was well patronised. GBG listed with three Wye Valley stagers, plus Jaipur. My WV Bitter was excellent (NBSS 4). Well-worth making time for as you head back to the station. 7.5

Monday lunch visit and Google Maps told me it was 8 years since my last visit. Could hardly believe it! Butty Bach in fine condition. £4.10. After arriving at the exact opening time on a Monday lunch, it started to fill up. Quite unexpectedly, but not as much as the old boys on white wine.
