Without Papers, E2

Visited 27/10/25. Previously visited as Tequila Mockingbird on 15/05/23 No cask. Three taps offering Guinness, their own branded IPA and Angelo Poretti and served as schooners. This is a rectangular venue from the busy shop fronted entrance with the bar counter immediately on the left-hand wall just inside the entrance. There is tall stool seating on the three sides of the bar counter and some tall stool seating at the ledge in the front window to the immediate left of the entrance. The rear of the venue has some nice leather banquette seating around the rear walls in a U-shaped formation serving regular tables and regular chairs the other side thereof. There are also some Parisian style tables and chairs in the central part of the U-shaped seating formation. No screens and nice lighting with a classy pop soundtrack on my visit. Pleasant bar manager / owner.

A long narrow room with some modern art on the wall. For a supposed Czech bar the list of beers was awful, just the usual stagers you can find anywhere else though there were more spirits than a series of Most Haunted. My Budvar Dark was crap - tart and not good enough…I’d have thought the two central European (Czech?) lads behind the bar would have a bit more pride in what they were doing. No other customers, hardly surprising. Waste of time all round - don’t be tempted by the theme, it’s just a rip-off.
