Four Crosses, Stafford

A smart looking Victorian corner pub in undressed brick and stone The interior has a single U-shaped room that curves very tightly around the central serving bar. The decor is white and a beige wood panel. One side, where i sat, had a dart board and pool table, as well as a TV with 'At the Races' on. Interest on the walls were the odd mirror and poster, so not a lot really. The service was fine and the clientele consisted of several locals simply enjoying themselves after finishing work. Beer; all tap stuff no MILD, no real ale, so had a bottle of Newcy brown A very much basic kind of pub, not really worth finding out for anyone that doesnt drink beyond the basic kind of drinks - ie Strongbow/Guinness/John Smiths/Carling
