The Fishmongers Arms, Southgate, N14

Personally I like this place. Lots of locals give it a friendly, laid back atmosphere and there's a good mix of people. Pubs are just not so busy these days, and judging by the number that have shut down, anyone who is still going must be doing something right!

I am really happy that this is my local pub, it is the only decent/ normal pub around here and it is not full of wierdos or yuppies. friendly atmosphere and pretty good food. I particularly enjoy quiz night on a sunday, even though I've never won yet!

OK sort of Pub but very quiet when I went in just a few people propping up the bar or playing Pool. It seems too have gone down hill a little bit since the last time I was in here last year looks like it needs a good deep clean. The only Ale on when I went in was Young's so I had Guinness which was served far too cold for me.

This is an OK pub with a healthy local contingent that were playing pool and darts and generally having a laugh. It's pretty spacious inside and there is plenty of outside seating. Usual lagers were on offer alongside Bombardier and Adnams with one pump clip turned. There are a couple of televisions with Sky for watching the football etc. I thought that this was an OK pub, but I wouldn't go out of my way to drink here.
