The Brewery Tap, Leeds

Modern bar with huge windows marked with the bars logos. Downstairs is mainly dining tables to the left with a couple of comfy chairs to the right. There's another room upstairs which is mainly comfy chairs/sofas. Unusual wooden menu boards on the tables with what looked like an interesting menu. 5 handpumps in use during our visit on Saturday afternoon. Three from Leeds Brewery and two from Milestone. I had a pint of Milestone Shine On, the other half had Leeds Pale. Both were in excellent condition. It's a pleasant comfortable place to watch the world go by.

Ikea-style bar with lots of sharp edges, but a lot of good beer on - several from Leeds Brewery (Pale, Best, Midnight Bell) as well as a couple of guests and one or two ciders. Some continental lagers on tap such as Leffe and Hoegaarden. Mixed feeling about this one - music is restrained and generally well-chosen, but being on the run up to the train station tends to get a lot of transitory punters. Ok for one or two.

This is a very new pub and as such could (and I'm sure will) be attacked by some on here for lacking atmosphere or old school charm. Me, well I primarily go to pubs for the beer and the tap does not disappoint - Leeds Pale Ale in top form alongside Midnight Bell, Tetleys Mild and a couple of other guests. I think this place is excellent and well worth a look, one of many good pubs in the vicinity.

A very modern bar with 3 Leeds Brewery ales on and many others including Tetly Mild at time of our visit. the music was up load and it appears to cater for the younger drinker. however a large number of them were drinking the ales which was a good to see. also serves Blue Moon brewery (USA) Wheat on draught. handy for Leeds station.

Bar like venue with 12 handpumps serving the Leeds Brewery range plus guests, including Tetley Mild, and Milestones, all I tried were in excellent condition. There is also an eclectic collection of lagers. Plain beige walls, stained boards and modern but practical furniture in one large, long room with big clear windows along one wall. More seating in a room upstairs, where there is also a room containing some brewing equipment, this may or may not be used but it is labelled “The Brewhouse”. Plainer and less designer styled than the Midnight Bell, another of Leeds Brewery's houses, but perhaps suited to its location and I presume its target demographic. Acoustic music night every second Thursday.
