Knights of St John has the feel of a restaurant, but there is a bar in the back right corner where Aspalls cider, Budweiser, San Miguel and Peroni are available on draught. There is an extensive cocktail menu and the bar was strewn with various fruits that make up the concoctions. Seating is found throughout the wooden floored interior and the walls are painted brown and green. I deduced that this venue was once two shops that have been knocked through into one. My visit was on Friday evening when there was one group of woman who looked as though they were on a work do. Thursday evening is £5 Martini night, which I think sums this place up perfectly. This may be a good establishment for some gastro dining or maybe a girls night out, but I saw nothing here to interest me.
