Bread & Bitter, Nottingham

Now this is a pub worth countless revisits. I have been in this place numerous times despite me living in Leeds. It's a Castle Rock pub with the best selection of their beers I have seen and there are various guest beers on offer. As per usual, I had Screech Owl which was excellent. Get yourselves in there if you like decent beer.

The Bread and Bitter was opened a couple of years ago and is in an old bakery it is in the middle of mapperley and behind the Plainsman pub once inside the floors are stone and there are several different drinking areas,this is a Castle Rock pub so i tried Harvest Pale which is a very good drink there was also about 8 other handpumps on the bar some castle Rock beers and other micro brewery beers. This pub is well worth finding and i think most real ale buffs would be very happy to have a few here i was.

Excellent pub that was once a bakery.Old ovens are still in the pub.very good choice of beer.
