Brownlow Arms, Newark

The Brownlow Arms is situated quite close to the river Trent but you carn'nt see it from the pub because the of flood bank. Once inside there is a long oblong shaped room which runs the width of the pub,this room is divided into three seperate areas by walls,the room is carpeted and has a beamed ceiling,seating is bench type with small tables and small stools,there is a seperate bar to the rear right whch has a pool table and darts board in it. There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Taylor Landlord which was a very nice well kept beer,the other beers were GK IPA and Abbot. This is a pleasant and decent pub to have a drink in. Pub visited 16/8/2014
