The Four Ways, Rowley Regis

A detached 1930s styled mainly undressed brick pub and Indian restaurant, with dutch gables, dormer windows and a patio area. The new name of this place should read Fourways Bar & Bar Be Que Nation. The interior has two rooms that form an L-shape around the serving bar; a lounge, which is now the main restaurant room and a bar, which still has menus on the tables, but does have a pool table. The decor in both is a cream wallpaper and wood panel, with white ceiling and looks tidy. The lounge has a raised area and there is a counter with a prices board over it for ordering food - i didn't eat but the prices looked pretty good! I would have asked for the place to be taken off the site as the layout of the lounge, with high-backed leather chairs and more Sky TV's than you could shake a stick at, is restauranty, but it did have a bar room, with juke-box and pool table. The music was charty and a bit loud. The sevice was fine, the clientele mixed, most eating. There were no real pictures or anything. Beer; no real ale, all keg stuff with Banks's MILD - i had a Banks's bitter shandy. You would go here to eat, it really isnt much of a pub, but at least it retains something of its former incarnation. The beer is basic, but without trying the food it is difficult to say really - however, i couldn't see myself drumming up the enthusiasm to go and try it.
