The Swan Inn, Looe

An good sized looking pub situated on the main street just down from the harbour. Inside it is perhaps a little disappointing, not really living up to what you might expect. In fact with it's blue carpet and blue bench seating, it reminds me more of a Conservative club than your average pub. There's a large fan and some wood panelling on the ceiling giving a slightly colonial feel to the place. There's a plasma at one end and a fruit machine, with a quiz machine and pool table at the other. There seemed to be a few chavs in on a recent Saturday night visit. Beers on tap were Courage Best and Doom Bar. Ciders were Strongbow and Weston's Scrumpy Supreme.
