The Fighting Cocks, Birmingham

Attractive pub in the heart of Moseley. Very impressive clock tower. Friendly service with 3 ales and a few craft beers on offer. The ales were Doom Bar, Landlord and Dark Star Hophead. We went for the latter which was excellent. Managed to grab one of the 2 tables on the street and spent a happy half hour watching the world go by. Well worth a visit. Hard to believe that The Smiths played a very early gig here back in 1983!

Cavernous pub - with an interesting barometer outside predicting the weather. Don't know if it works or not. Inside, its a L shaped room with high benches and stools. Four cask on and the Tribute was in decent condition. Lots of choice in the area, but I wasn't disappointed with my visit.
