Belushi's, Greenwich, SE10

Really cool place with lots of personalities. A lot of the nights are focused on younger people i.e. students, and this place is bar far the best in Greenwich for students! Cheap beer, friendly staff and DJs/live bands and Karaoke! I used to avoid this place a few years ago but the new management have really turned this place around. If you sign up for a VIP card online the prices are very good generally. They always seem to be running some promotions too. i.e. 2for1 burgers, cocktails and shooters on Tuesday I would highly recommend for people who want a bar with a bit of attitude and personality.

Situtaed adjacent to Greenwich station this was previously known as the St Christopher Inn. Now part of the Belushi’s chain, there really isn’t anything here that warrants more than a desparate pint whilst waiting for a train. The functional interior has modern furnishings and presents itself as little more than a den of keg beers and lagers, late night DJ’s, 2 for 1 burger offers and multiscreen footy, all aimed at a student / backpacker crowd. Unless you qualify for the student discount offers, the place is actually quite pricey. There are stages at both ends of the pub for live music, one with a large Who mural hehind it and the other with an ad hoc poster display. At one time this was a thriving Theatre pub but whether the theatre is still a going concern I’m not sure - there is little evidence of it being used for that purpose. There are plenty of better pubs in the vicinity and if you can’t find them, best to take advantage of the station next door and go elsewhere.
