The Station Inn, Coalville

The Station is a decent looking pub that is at the bottom of hough hill and next to the level crossings. Once inside there was a drinking porch and a lounge to the left which was in darkness,the lounge had a pool table in it,we went into the bar which was on the right this was a smallish room with the bar on the left,the seating was fairly basic and there was a tiled floor and a real fire on the go,the entertainment on our visit was a dart board and a TV showing horse racing. There were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Salopian Firkin Freezing which was a well kept drink but too hoppy for my liking,the other beer was Pedigree. There was a good crowd of locals in on our dinner time visit. This is a decent enough pub to have a few drinks in. Pub visited 14/12/2012

Excellent landlord/Lady all ages catered for private rear garden for adults and children, regular entertainment, also outside smoking catered for too. It's an all in one pub
