The Victoria, Ware

A small traditional Mc Mullens tied house with two seperate bars,the snug housing a pool table,while the saloon has a few modern seats and tables,a juke box and a small bar.A well kept AK and seasonal Thirst Quencher were available along with the usual keg offerings.The low ceiling and friendly welcome add to the authentic feel.There is a beer garden by the car park and a riverside terrace giving a good view of the boating traffic.

The Victoria is a nice looking pub that is close to the town centre. Once inside this pub seemed pretty much unaltered and was the sort of pub i like to have a drink in,this pub is a McMullens tied house and there were Two real ales on here i had a drink of McMullens AK bitter and this was very nice. There is a garden at the rear of the pub which backs onto the river. Pub visited 25/6/2005
