This former Yates's is said to have up to three real ales on the bar. If we allow zero to be one of the numbers "up to" three then this was almost true at the time of my visit. The presence of four hand pumps with three pump clips turned around suggests that it could, from time to time, be a closer approximation to the truth than I'm prepared to grant. On a fine, sunny day in spring, though, why would you not have some real ale on the bar? I would say it's because you've stopped stocking it. In the absence of real ale this is not the pub for me, so I gave it a score of NBSS 0 and moved on. Date of visit: 8th April 2023
