The Cuckoo, Peterborough

Attractive Vintage Inn on the western outskirts of Peterborough, but still looking like the village pub that it notionally is. Of course, the interior has been remodelled and modernised, but some character remains (as is usually the case with this chain). Also has a front patio beer garden that helps with the look. I found Doom Bar, Ghost Ship (£4.55) and Rosie's Pig cider on three of the five handpumps.
