have to echo the worthy comments posted here. There was footy on when we visited, but did not detract from the beer, service and good atmosphere (the game was Arsenal v Chelsea). Quite a mixed crowd. Had a couple of different beers, Strongarm being one, i think. Would always visit

A pub which looks rather daunting from the outside but is actually very tardis-like! A decent selection of real ales and live sport on the TVs. A nice spacious, friendly atmosphere.
