All Bar One, Milton Keynes

This All Bar One is in a large and square high-ceilinged open plan venue with a heavily scuffed wooden floor and a long serving counter up the right that faces a row of high tables before open plan standard seating in the left where a single mirrored supporting column sits in the centre. The service from the young barmaid was very friendly and there was some upbeat background music playing, but there was only me and one other customer in on a recent Thursday afternoon. Premium keg was available alongside Neck Oil, Camden Hells and Jubel. Out the front is seating under four jumbrellas that were being beaten by the wind. I’m not a fan of the ABO chain so I’ll not be returning.

Usual anonymous modern bar / restaurant deal, albeit in a double-height space with poor acoustics. Equally dull draught beer selection, with Today's Haze from Goose Island (£3.05, half) being about the best on offer.
