The New Inn, Llanrwst

This is an original Marston's pub as it's listed as such in my ancient North Wales beer guide. You enter into a long narrow room with a pool table at the rear and a further quieter area to the right on the other side of the bar. There is a small alcove to the right as you enter which has something unique, wallpaper designed to make it seem that there are shelves full of books there. Although there are three hand pumps only one was in use and that had Marston's Saddletank which was under three quid but a very dull beer. I found this place fairly uninspiring.

A very friendly pub that is laid out in a traditional manner (whatever that means).
