Backstreet pub situated in a residential area well away from Windsor town centre. Opening times here are a bit limited, with the pub not opening until 3pm during the week. We arrived pretty much spot on 3pm for our Monday visit. The pub is nicely appointed inside with plenty of odds and ends scattered around the pub to admire. There is also artwork on the walls, which can be purchased. London Pride is the regular beer here. However, they do also stock a guest beer, which on this occasion was Hobgoblin. There is a large garden to the rear, but it was far too cold for that. The barman/landlord was friendly. But the mundane beer choice is not enough to tempt me out of the centre for a repeat visit any time soon.
