The Hand & Heart, Millfield, Peterborough

An old school backstreet boozer with an old school landlord and landlady who initially seemed a bit taken aback by a group of us turning up at opening time but soon warmed to the task. The exterior is well weather worn with the majority of the pubs name missing from the frontage, inside is more pleasant and functional. Five beers were on of which I tried two, Abbeydale Okarito and Rockingham Golden Hour, both in pleasing condition. The pub is a little out of the way but well worth finding.
