The Coach House Inn, Chester

An end terrace pub in mock Tudor style, half brick and half white and black timber. There was a beer patio. The interior was open plan, though with a pub area and a food area. The decor was mainly white, with wood floor and an eclectic mix of pictures on the walls. The service was ok and the clientele small, but mixed. Music was a bit charty, but played at an ok level. Beer; tap stuff, with Thwaites Wainwrights, Original, Lancaster Bomber and a decent enough Nutty Black on handpull, along with Cumberland Ale. The beer choice is good, the pub a bit more run of the mill. Worth a vist though.

This pub has now changed its name to the Coach house. It has been recently refurbished and is more like a wine bar than a pub, the old coach and horses was a traditional pub, this one sells continental beers etc. but well worth a visit if you go to the city of Chester on the town hall.
