Royal Standard Inn, Beverley

A small bar at the front with a lounge area at the rear. 2 real ales.

The Royal Standard is a smallish pub which looks very nice from the outside with lots of hanging baskets and flower boxes and the front window still has the old Darleys sign on it as this used to be a darleys tied house. Once inside there is a small room at the front with a bar and a passage leads you to the back room which is a lot bigger and more like a lounge this room was quite pleasant and i was happy sitting here with a drink,there were two real ales on the bar i had Tetley Bitter and this was very nice there was also Jennings Cumberland on which i did'nt try. If you want a read they also have the local Hull and East Yorkshire pub mirror available.
