Nursery Inn, Stockport

In a quieter position than the Deansgate Cafe Rouge and I found the staff more friendly. The interior is quite crowded making wheel chair movement difficult at busy times. Food and drink pricey but good. More a special place to visit than a local.

The Nursery is an excellent 1930's pub, unspoilt with wood panelled rooms. Great seletion of Hydes beers and food is served at lunchtime. The large lounge is used as a dining room although you can dine in any of the rooms as it can get very busy. The pub also has a bowling green, with tables outside, great for outside summer drinking. This pub is well worth a short walk off the nearby A6.
