A smart Holts pub which is much bigger on the inside that it looks. There's a lounge area to the left where there are 2 budgies in a cage. The main room has a small raised area to the left and a small stage which is used for karaoke. A good looking carpet, lots of wood and several prints around the walls. 2 handpumps on the bar, but only Holts Bitter available, which was a well kept pint. It's a good traditional pub, I liked this one.

I liked this pub without it being anything special. Its traditional and friendly.

A Holts pub with the feel of a really old traditional local, unchanged for generations, though a closer look suggests that there have been changes all right, but done with the care and attention to detail which is typical of this brewer. Quite a large room with a long bar, but there are railings and screens marking out individual areas and leaving an area for standing drinkers. Just two hand pumps, with Holts Bitter and IPA.
