The Albert Edward, Eccles, Salford

The Albert Edward is a Sam Smiths pub with the usual keg and no OBB on cask. In the left front is a seating area with a dartboard and there are three more seating areas towards the rear of the pub. Out the back is a nice looking beer yard with seating. I found the service to be miserable and I was pleased to leave.

A Sam Smiths pub with all the beers that that entails. Multi roomed and not too bad. A friendly welcome on this afternoon visit with decent banter with the locals. Not great but its ok for an afternoon.

The Albert Edward is situated in the middle of Eccles on the busy church street. We went in this pub on a horrible cold and wet November night,so was pleased to get in here. Once inside we only noticed a single room with the bar facing,the room was comfortable enough with bench seating and stools. The pub is a Samuel Smiths tied house,there was one real ale on the bar,this was Old Brewery Bitter which went down very well,we were quite content having a drink in this pub.
