The William Webb Ellis (JD Wetherspoon), Twickenham

This isn't a typical wetherspoons with its many plasma screens and grand rather than drinking hanger décor. As you would expect, the beer is cheap and nearing its sell by date and the staff are young and still finding their personalities. There is a circular fireplace towards the rear of the pub that is surrounded by sofas, but although this is a large pub there isn't that much seating. There is also a small beer garden to keep the smokers off the high street. This is certainly not the worst Spoons I have ever been in.

Large and comfortable Wetherspoon's pub selling a good range of real ales including the local Twickenham ales brews. The focal point is a large coal effect fire which is welcoming on a cold winters day
