The Bridgewater Arms, Berkhamsted

Set in a beautiful part of Hertfordshire in an attractive village, the pub looks perfect from the outside. The bar is fine and as it's a Greene King pub you can expect the usual selection of ales (in my view that's not much of a choice).I am not a great fan of GK beers in any of their various guises. However, the food was very good in portion size and flavours. The welcome was friendly and the place itself was warm and comfortable. A return visit will definitely be on the cards.
