Basement bar with a split level interior. 3 real ale taps (1 on during my visit),"craft keg" and food served. Numerous album/single covers on the walls seemed to be mostly late 70s into the 80s and I particularly enjoyed the 80's music that was playing ( stayed for another pint 80's my era) "If I had a photograph of you It's something to remind me".

Somewhat gloomy cellar bar, sub-divided into different seating areas and furnished with traditional-looking trappings to try - not altogether successfully - to give the place a pub-like atmosphere. Background music. Not that crowded on a Friday evening. Two of the three handpumps were operational, offering Cottage Tornado and Bristol Bulldog (£3.80) which made a welcome change from the usual suspects.
