Holy Goat, Tonbridge

The interior of the Somerhill consists of a bar in the right hand side and a pool table and dartboard to the left. On the right wall is an electronic dart scorer next to a large mirror which I imagine hides another dartboard. Plasma screens are located throughout for showing live sport and there was some background music playing during my visit on a recent Friday evening. Standard draught is available from the bar and the Pride was off leaving Harvey’s best as the lone cask ale option. Outside the front of the pub are a couple of picnic tables and there is a beer garden at the rear. I did not venture out there, but I did hear some young children playing on a trampoline as the sun set. I found the service to be polite, but I think that I will leave this boozer to the locals next time I am in the area.
